The Association of Business Executives (ABE) Certificate in Financial Management is accepted at many universities and can be used in lieu of the A-Levels for entry.

 

The Certificate programme is run over nine (9) months and consists of the following modules:

1. Introduction to Business
2. Introduction to Quantitative Methods
3. Introduction to Accounting
4. Introduction to Business Communication

Pathway

Students who achieve the ABE Certificate may use it to apply for a place at a university, or continue to work through the ABE Diploma in Financial Management.

Examinations

Examinations are set, organised and delivered by the ABE itself. ABE membership registration is required and examination registration must normally be completed at least three (3) months before an examination is scheduled to take place. This process is done directly with the ABE.

Certificate tuition fee : £2,500 (excludes ABE membership and examination fees).

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) Diploma in Financial Management is accepted at many universities and can be used as a pre-requisite for entry into second year of University or the ABE Advanced Diploma.

 

The Diploma programme is split into two parts and run over 12 months:

Diploma Part 1

The following modules are compulsory:

1. Economic Principles and their Application to Business
2. Organisational Behaviour
3. Financial Accounting
4. Quantitative Methods for Business and Management

Diploma Part 2

The following modules are compulsory:

1. Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication
2. Human Resource Management

Please select two modules from the following:

1. Management in Action
2. Managerial Accounting
3. Principles of Business Law
4. Systems Analysis and Design
5. Concepts and Principles of Islamic Economics

Pathway

Students who achieve the ABE Diploma may use it as professional qualification, or as an entry requirement into either the ABE Advanced Diploma or second year of a degree at one of many universities in the UK or abroad.

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) Advanced Diploma in Financial Management is accepted at many universities and can be used as a pre-requisite for entry into the final year of University. With relevant work experience, the ABE Advanced Diploma can even gain you entry into a MBA program at various UK universities.
